Since then she has gained a variety of experience both in the NHS and private sectors.
Following her senior post with The Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust, Emily went onto the out patient department at St Andrews in Billericay, where she continued to develop her musculoskeletal and orthopaedic skills. She then moved to the Essex Nuffield Hospital and then The BUPA Hartswood Hospital in Brentwood, which enabled her to work closely with many of the local orthopaedic consultants.
Emily was also fortunate to work with the Royal Ballet Company, which gave her an invaluable insight into acute sports injuries, and treatment. Combined with her previous experience as a dancer, Emily has a unique understanding behind the mechanics of a dance injury and as a result now treats many dancers and works with local schools to prevent injuries.
In conjunction with New Century Physiotherapy, Emily has continued to work at the Bupa Hartswood Hospital at weekends, and also works at the Central School of Dance in Brentwood, on a part time basis.
